Quality gates
We de昀椀ne quality gates – or special milestones – for each phase to ensure that the project is
running according to plan. Quality gates also enable us to intervene quickly in case of any issues.
吀栀e following section provides you with an overview of how we organize these projects, always
working closely with each customer and tailoring the tasks to be completed to their needs.
Discover
Realize
In this phase, we review all your data and
processes to produce a migration assessment,
which outlines the relevant migration objects,
data usage and volume, and required changes to
processes prior to transition. We then deliver
our recommendation for the future system
environment, including both test and
production environments.
In this phase, we implement changes from the
data transition blueprint in the transformation
so昀琀ware. An important task in this phase is
updating governance, risk, and compliance
(GRC) rules, as well as privacy implementation
with anonymization/pseudonymization
functions. We recommend running at least two
complete data transitions (test cycles) followed
by an end-to-end process test executed by the
customer. Once this is complete, we update
the data transition rules and settings where
necessary.
Prepare
We prepare your Natuvion’s ALLFIELD™ project by setting up the transition environment
and installing the transformation so昀琀ware.
We also provide you with an activity plan that
details what needs to be done, relevant roles and
responsibilities, and our recommendations for
a testing strategy to ensure that all is running
smoothly prior to go-live.
Deploy / Run
Deploy / Run is where we simulate go-live with
you based on the prede昀椀ned cutover plan. We
give the system a 昀椀nal detailed test, including
all GRC and privacy functions, and release it
for production. 吀栀is phase almost always runs
smoothly as 昀椀ndings from each of the prior
phases are incorporated into the next one –
that way, we avoid unpleasant surprises.
Explore
We design the data transition by de昀椀ning and
writing data extraction and load processes.
吀栀ese also include the de昀椀nition of security
rules and roles, as well as the data privacy
architecture. Selective Data Transition takes
place using specially developed transformation
sets, in which the data transition design can
be validated and adapted. We also de昀椀ne the
framework of the later cutover during this
phase, which is managed using agile processes.
